Imprint Book Festival

Now in its 12th year, IMPRINT Book Festival has welcomed many literary giants throughout its lifetime to date.

Authors of critical acclaim featured in previous programmes include Joanne Harris, Christopher Brookmyre, William McIlvanney, Mick Kitson, Andrew O’Hagan, Jackie Kay, Val McDermid, Chris McQueer, Mairi Hedderwick, Debi Gliori and Graeme Macrae Burnet. The festival has also welcomed many household names including Kirsty Wark, Neil Oliver, Tony Robinson, Kate Humble, Julia Donaldson, Sandi Toksvig and many more.

IMPRINT Writing Awards

Entrants can submit a story (fiction or narrative non-fiction), poem, play, comic strip or letter. The award is open to anyone based in Ayrshire aged 16yrs+. Stories have a word limit of 1500 words and no word limit for other forms. All works should be previously unpublished.
